I don't know if you have ever wondered about this, but what's the deal with the number pads on telephones and keyboards?

My question is: how come nobody seems to be confused by this?

Just the way the cookie crumbles I guess. I don't really use the number pad on the keyboard, but calculators... I gess it just makes sense, I dunno! Mebe u hold em differently... I'm gonna have to think on this one now, you've made me curious!
